The tomb of the 20th Dynasty ruler, Ramesses VI (1141-1133 BC), known as KV 9, lies in a crowded section of the Valley of the Kings. Other tombs in the immediate area include KV 57 (Horemheb) and KV 62 (Tutankhamen), both of which underlie the later tomb of Ramesses VI.
