Antechamber of the Tomb of Horemheb (photo: Davis 1909)

The Antechamber of the Tomb of Horemheb, located about 28 m below the level of the tomb entrance, measures 4.12 m in width by 5.21 m in length and is  2.66 m high. The Antechamber has relief decorations similar to those of the Well Chamber. Both have scenes of Horemheb making offerings to various major Egyptian deities connected with funerary ritual.

This early photo shows the room filled with rubble. Some was construction debris left by the  builders of the unfinished tomb.
