The Temple of Sobek-Re, a crocodile deity widely worshipped in Lower Egypt, was built at Qasr Qarun in the Fayum town of Dionysias during the early Ptolemaic period, between 320-300 BC.

Inside. among various carvings on the limestone walls, is a fragmentary relief showing the partial figure of an unidentified Ptolemaic king, preserved from the chest down.
