Saqqara: tomb of Hesy-ra, plan and profile

Saqqara became the royal necropolis in the third Dynasty, when King Djoser built a large burial complex with pyramid. A number of mastaba tombs of nobles and high officials were built in a third Dynasty necropolis in north Saqqara.
